Tried something new today. It is 10% alcohol and costs about 50 cents. It tastes a lot like pito, a local beer in northern Ghana made from millet. I really liked it but was thinking it would have better in a calabash.

It’s funny because I get really annoyed with ants at home, but here I seem to just deal with them. Just a normal part of life. Ha!
I have never seen a picture like this! I am not sure if I am grossed out or fascinated – probably what you feel every day! It also made me remember the time you and I discovered the trail of ants through all the cabinets and swarming inside 3rd roomie’s open jelly bean bag. good times!
