Katie and I took a short excursion to neighboring country Togo. Our destination was Tamberma Valley. We read about it in the Lonely Planet and just decided to go one weekend. Basically, Tamberma Valley is a group of fortified villages that were founded in the 17th century. It's a beautiful place with very interesting history and culture.
