Ok, so this will be my last email for a few weeks. I meet my counterpart on Tuesday and we are traveling to Binaba together on Thursday. A counterpart is sort of like my supervisor or my main point of contact at my site. I've heard really good things about my counterpart, so I'm looking forward to meeting her and going to visit my site for the first time. I will be in Binaba six days before I come back to Techiman for the last couple weeks of training. It's hard to believe training is almost over. I feel extremely overloaded with practical information right now, so it will be nice to get to my site to actually start applying it all.
I don't really have much to report. No news is good news, right? I do, however, have a few pictures posted to my website. Check them out when you get a chance.
My Internet access will drastically decrease soon. While in Techiman, I've been able to check email at least once a week. This will go to about once a month when I move to Binaba. It was nice while it lasted, huh? :) I'm going to try to write a newsletter or update every month or so, but replies and updates from you should come via snail-mail (hint, hint).
I miss you all ... eat lots of turkey, dressing, green bean casserole, and pecan pie for me!! And of course, my homestay family and I will be cheering on the Dawgs to beat GT. Yes, I've recruited some more Bulldawgs across the ocean!! :)
